Back to Reality

It was sooo nice to have 4 days off from work. I am so depressed that it is over now. All I want to do is be at home in my nice warm house. Hailey had a really hard time going back to daycare today. She cried and cried, it broke my heart to leave her there.

Well, we had a great Thanksgiving. On Wed. night we met my parents and went out to dinner with them. We were suppose to be meeting them at the coast on Friday but my dad was not feeling well so they were only going to go down for 1 day. On Thanksgiving day we went to Justin's parents house. It was a lot of fun. Hailey went with they boys to go feed the horses that his dad was taking care of for a few weeks. She had a blast! On Friday I woke up at 4am to meet my mother in law and go shopping. I spent WAY too much money but was able to get most of my Christmas shopping done. On Sat we really didn't do much of anything. One of my best girlfrinds came over and we spent the night watching movies. On Sunday we went to church and then we came home and put up all our Christmas decorations and wrapped Christmas presents. It was a very good weekend, I am just sad that it is over now:(

Well hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...Now Back to Reality

I am so Thankful

I am so excited that the Holidays are finally here. This is my favorite time of year and I have so many things to be thankful for this year. Here are a few of the things that I have been blessed with this past year!

1) I found the man of my dreams and was able to marry my very best friend in the whole world.

2) We have the most beautiful little girl who is my " little monkey" and she is the world to us.

3) We found a great church this year that Justin and I are both really excited about.

4) We have a nice warm house to come home to every night

5) We have a wonderful family (yes mother that includes you too) that we love very much!

6) We have wonderful friends that are always there for us.

7) We both have wonderful jobs and are able to provide a very comfortable life for ourselves and our beautiful baby girl!

I would have to say that this last year has been the best of my whole life and I am so thankful. I never knew life could be so wonderful. Thank you God, and thank you Justin!

Hum De Dum

Man it has been the longest week ever. I have seen Justin a total of 1 hour since Sunday and I won't see him tonight either. It is so agrivating. Our schedules are so different. I probably wont see him until Thursday night because he has school tonight. Oh well I guess I'll have to stop whining an deal with it.

On Fri. Justin and I brought home a new addition to our family. She is a nine week old Golden Retreiver. She is still bigger than Dinky (our other dog) and Dinky is full grown. Hailey was shocked to have a new puppy waiting for her when she got home from daycare. It was so cute.

Anyway, Have to run!

Almost There!

I am so excited. Justin only has a few months left of his 5 year apprenticeship. It is so hard with our schedules to do anything. He gets up at 4am every morning to go to work and the 2 nights a week he has school he doesn't even get home until 10pm. I will be so grateful when he is done with school. These winter months are the hardest. I pick up Hailey and dread going home to a dark cold house. I wish June would get here faster. I told Justin that by the time he finishes school he could have been a doctor. He has a 2 year associates on top of all this school. In the end that will be a total of 7 years. What a good man:)

Tonight is one of those nights that Justin has school. I am thinking about intruding on my dear mother and having her feed her wonderful grandaughter and child. After working for 10 hours the last thing I want to do is go home and cook a big dinner for just Hailey and myself.

I have this Friday off which is nice because Justin happens to have this Friday off also. I am looking forward to doing absolutely nothing other than a little cleaning of course! We actually might go out and buy Hailey the 4 wheeler that Justin found for Christmas. it is electric and has a parental control that allow us to shut it down if she gets going too fast. We actually just bought her a brand new riding helmet and jersey. (I think this was more daddys Christmas present than Hailey's) It will be fun to take her with us 4 wheeling this summer and have something for her to do.

Anyway, need to run..I need to call mom and see what she is making for supper!

For Your Viewing Pleasure!

Halloween was so much fun we started off at grandma's house for snacks and hot apple cider and then moved on to stop at a few friends to trick or treat and then jumped right back into the warm car. It was just way too cold to go from house to house. Justin was really excited about be a bottle of mustard:) what a good man I have:) Hailey thought it was the funniest thing in the world so that made it worth it for all of us.

These past few months have been very conflicting for me. Justin and I really want to sell our house and move into the country where we can raise Hailey and any other future rugrats that may come along but prices are just too high right now to do that. We will probably have to wait another 2 years before we can afford that. In the meantime we have decided to put off having another baby until we get on the property that we want. In the past few months I have had the baby blues soooo bad. I don't think I can wait another 2 years. Hailey will be almost 6 if we do that and that would be like starting our family all over again. I think I will have a serious talk with my wonderful husband and see what he thinks??? The other thing that is bothering me is that I don't think I want to work until my kids are both in school. We could do it but it would definitely be a lifestyle change for everyone and then we would never get our new house:( I have a wonderful job right now that I am very grateful for but more and more it is feeling less fufilling for me, probably in large part due to the fact that every morning it 's getting harder and harder to drop Hailey off at daycare knowing I wont be back to get her for 10 hours. It just doesn't seem right. No offense to working mothers:) Something weird that I can't explain has been going on with me lately. I have always been all about my career and wanting to get further ahead but lately all I want to do is stay at home with my baby and do domesticated things around the house, like making sure supper is ready for Justin when he gets home. I know right now my friends and family are laughing out loud ( Laugh away mom). Who knows maybe my hormones are just out of wack and I'm feeling this way because I'm already pregnant...wouldn't that be funny:) Anyway, we'll see what happens.

We got our wedding video back from the videographer. I was a little disappointed. I had given him 3 songs that I wanted him to put on there and he only used one over and over again. Also, He didn't even put any footage of the reception or the band on the video. What was the point of paying $1500 for a band if I don't have any pictures or video to remember it? Oh well, everyone that I have talked to said that they had a great time so I guess that's all that matters. Out of the whole wedding that is my only complaint so I guess I should be grateful. It was the wedding of my dreams and better yet, I am now married to the man of my dreams and my very best friend in the whole world...I am so lucky!

Well I better get going. Justin doesn't have school tonight so he will be home. I put a yummy roast in the crock pot before I left for work so it should be all ready by the time I get home:)
