I am so excited that I have a 3 day weekend. So far I don't have much planned except for going over to my friend Sheilah's house to play games on Sunday night. I feel like such an old woman. I know that I wont make it until midnight. I was in bed last night by 8pm. I need to do something fun and exciting to remind myself that I am only 24. We were thinking about taking the 4 wheelers to sand lake this weekend but my husband got a wild hair and tore his whole bike apart to paint it 2 weekends ago. I guess I still could go because my bike is all shiny and new just sitting in the garage begging for me to ride it:) I was really happy because Hailey only had to go to daycare one day this week. Mon she was with me, Tue she was with mom, Wed she was with other grandma, Thr she went to daycare, and today she is at home with daddy. I don't feel quite as guilty when she is with family. She starts a new daycare on the 14th. It is a private Christian dayschool. It comes highly recomended and they have a huge waiting list. They squeezed Hailey in because of her age and the class she would be in. I am really excited, this year she starts sign language and next year she will start Spanish as well. I think the structure will be really good for her! Well I better get going. I sure hope 5pm gets here sooner than later!

Almost here

Wow! I can't beleive Christmas is almost here! I am so excited for the new year, I just hope it is as good as the last. Justin is out Christmas shopping tonight. I am sure he is having fun at the mall!!! My boss and I took off this morning and spent the day at the mall. It was amazing how many people were there during the day. My boss and I have been working together for about 5 years now and every year we plan a whole day shopping. I guess there are perks to being friends with the boss. Today we sat down for lunch and around the beginning of the year she is looking to offer me an area director of sales position. The condition is that I have to promise not to quit my job when I have another baby. Oh...I don't know what to do it would mean a huge pay increase from what I already make and because I would be over both the Portland and Gladstone properties I would be working 5 minutes away from home 3 days a week. I guess there are alot worse decisions to have to make. I am just going to count my blessings and pray about it for a while. Anyway, Merry Christmas!

I am so glad it's Friday. All I want to do is go home and sit by my fire. We had a huge storm last night. We lost power for about 3 hours, but it was kind of fun! I had my girlfriend Kim over and so we sat by candlelight talking for hours. It is amazing how much we rely on electricity.

Tonight I am going over to my girlfriend Joy's house. She is pretty bummed out because she just broke her ankle. Actually she just got a cast off of her other ankle that she broke about 3 weeks ago. So right now she is pretty upset. We are going to spend alll night watching girlie movies. Tomorrow is baking day and then Sunday is church and the Christmas program. So all in all it should be a very fun weekend! Now all I have to do is make it through today:( I have an appt with one of my clients this morning, a lunch appt with my friend Kim today at the hotel that she works at ( I am actually looking foward to that appt), Christmas cards I have to get sent to all of my clients, a month end report I hae to get done, and 2 weekly reports I have to send to corporate by the end of the day. I will be so glad when I am off of work.

Anyway gotta run!

I have been so sick today I just want to curl up in a ball and cry. I think it is food poisoning. I ate some chicken salad last night before I went to bed and it hit me at about 1am. It was a veeerrry long night. I went to work today anyway and that what not a very good idea. I was so cranky and tired that I left at 3pm and came home to take a nap. Justin has school tonight so I am on my own with Hailey tonight. I think that all moms should get a certain amount of sick days.

On a happier note I am so excited for Christmas. I bought Justin an acoustic guitar and some lessons because he has really been wanting to learn. I also bought him new plastics for his 4wheeler, some pajamas, an electric razor, the first season of the A Team (don't ask), and a few other movies. I think my Christmas shopping is almost done. So far I have spent about $1200 on Christmas so hopefully that will be about it. ( Obviously shopping was done before I was put on a budget) Roxanne is coming over on Sat. and we are going to bake all day!!! I am really excited, I love that kind of stuff. I wish it could be Christmas all year!!!!!!

Hailey's birthday was this last weekend. We had her party at Safari Sams. It was so much fun. I will post the pictures as soon as I get them on my computer. On Sat I told her that her birthday was here. My sweet baby ran to the window to see! I love that little girl so much. Yesterday she said "mom you are my best friend" ...I am the luckiest mom in the world.

Well I better go. Justin will be home soon and I need to pick up the house!

Is It Friday Yet???

I am so over my job right now. I keep telling myself that I only have a few more months before I can quit and stay at home with my baby girl. Justin and I have made 3 goals that we need to accomplish before I quit my job. 1. We must have a certain amount built up in savings before I quit 2. We must sell our 4runner to get rid of a car payment 3. We must pay cash for a truck for Justin. All of this is not too far out there. My next bonus in Jan. will be about $3,000 and we usually get aout $5000 back for our tax returns on top of the fact that we are saving about $1500 a month right now. Now if only I could stop spending money:( I am trying to get in the habit of watching how much money I spend. Justin and I had our first Money disagreement this weekend. He was getting something down from the top of his closet and an old box of mine fell down on top of him. I came running into the bedroom and horrors of all horrors it was my box of purses. Their was Coach and Guess purses all over and I think even 1 Prada. I couldn't help but burst into laughter at the sight of him sitting in the middle of the floor with a guess purse draped around his neck. Anyway, he didn't find the humor in the situation and now I am on a budget, which is good because I really am trying to be more careful and prepare myself for not being able to just buy something when I want it. Anyway, this will be a good test for me.

Back to Reality

It was sooo nice to have 4 days off from work. I am so depressed that it is over now. All I want to do is be at home in my nice warm house. Hailey had a really hard time going back to daycare today. She cried and cried, it broke my heart to leave her there.

Well, we had a great Thanksgiving. On Wed. night we met my parents and went out to dinner with them. We were suppose to be meeting them at the coast on Friday but my dad was not feeling well so they were only going to go down for 1 day. On Thanksgiving day we went to Justin's parents house. It was a lot of fun. Hailey went with they boys to go feed the horses that his dad was taking care of for a few weeks. She had a blast! On Friday I woke up at 4am to meet my mother in law and go shopping. I spent WAY too much money but was able to get most of my Christmas shopping done. On Sat we really didn't do much of anything. One of my best girlfrinds came over and we spent the night watching movies. On Sunday we went to church and then we came home and put up all our Christmas decorations and wrapped Christmas presents. It was a very good weekend, I am just sad that it is over now:(

Well hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving...Now Back to Reality

I am so Thankful

I am so excited that the Holidays are finally here. This is my favorite time of year and I have so many things to be thankful for this year. Here are a few of the things that I have been blessed with this past year!

1) I found the man of my dreams and was able to marry my very best friend in the whole world.

2) We have the most beautiful little girl who is my " little monkey" and she is the world to us.

3) We found a great church this year that Justin and I are both really excited about.

4) We have a nice warm house to come home to every night

5) We have a wonderful family (yes mother that includes you too) that we love very much!

6) We have wonderful friends that are always there for us.

7) We both have wonderful jobs and are able to provide a very comfortable life for ourselves and our beautiful baby girl!

I would have to say that this last year has been the best of my whole life and I am so thankful. I never knew life could be so wonderful. Thank you God, and thank you Justin!

Hum De Dum

Man it has been the longest week ever. I have seen Justin a total of 1 hour since Sunday and I won't see him tonight either. It is so agrivating. Our schedules are so different. I probably wont see him until Thursday night because he has school tonight. Oh well I guess I'll have to stop whining an deal with it.

On Fri. Justin and I brought home a new addition to our family. She is a nine week old Golden Retreiver. She is still bigger than Dinky (our other dog) and Dinky is full grown. Hailey was shocked to have a new puppy waiting for her when she got home from daycare. It was so cute.

Anyway, Have to run!

Almost There!

I am so excited. Justin only has a few months left of his 5 year apprenticeship. It is so hard with our schedules to do anything. He gets up at 4am every morning to go to work and the 2 nights a week he has school he doesn't even get home until 10pm. I will be so grateful when he is done with school. These winter months are the hardest. I pick up Hailey and dread going home to a dark cold house. I wish June would get here faster. I told Justin that by the time he finishes school he could have been a doctor. He has a 2 year associates on top of all this school. In the end that will be a total of 7 years. What a good man:)

Tonight is one of those nights that Justin has school. I am thinking about intruding on my dear mother and having her feed her wonderful grandaughter and child. After working for 10 hours the last thing I want to do is go home and cook a big dinner for just Hailey and myself.

I have this Friday off which is nice because Justin happens to have this Friday off also. I am looking forward to doing absolutely nothing other than a little cleaning of course! We actually might go out and buy Hailey the 4 wheeler that Justin found for Christmas. it is electric and has a parental control that allow us to shut it down if she gets going too fast. We actually just bought her a brand new riding helmet and jersey. (I think this was more daddys Christmas present than Hailey's) It will be fun to take her with us 4 wheeling this summer and have something for her to do.

Anyway, need to run..I need to call mom and see what she is making for supper!

For Your Viewing Pleasure!

Halloween was so much fun we started off at grandma's house for snacks and hot apple cider and then moved on to stop at a few friends to trick or treat and then jumped right back into the warm car. It was just way too cold to go from house to house. Justin was really excited about be a bottle of mustard:) what a good man I have:) Hailey thought it was the funniest thing in the world so that made it worth it for all of us.

These past few months have been very conflicting for me. Justin and I really want to sell our house and move into the country where we can raise Hailey and any other future rugrats that may come along but prices are just too high right now to do that. We will probably have to wait another 2 years before we can afford that. In the meantime we have decided to put off having another baby until we get on the property that we want. In the past few months I have had the baby blues soooo bad. I don't think I can wait another 2 years. Hailey will be almost 6 if we do that and that would be like starting our family all over again. I think I will have a serious talk with my wonderful husband and see what he thinks??? The other thing that is bothering me is that I don't think I want to work until my kids are both in school. We could do it but it would definitely be a lifestyle change for everyone and then we would never get our new house:( I have a wonderful job right now that I am very grateful for but more and more it is feeling less fufilling for me, probably in large part due to the fact that every morning it 's getting harder and harder to drop Hailey off at daycare knowing I wont be back to get her for 10 hours. It just doesn't seem right. No offense to working mothers:) Something weird that I can't explain has been going on with me lately. I have always been all about my career and wanting to get further ahead but lately all I want to do is stay at home with my baby and do domesticated things around the house, like making sure supper is ready for Justin when he gets home. I know right now my friends and family are laughing out loud ( Laugh away mom). Who knows maybe my hormones are just out of wack and I'm feeling this way because I'm already pregnant...wouldn't that be funny:) Anyway, we'll see what happens.

We got our wedding video back from the videographer. I was a little disappointed. I had given him 3 songs that I wanted him to put on there and he only used one over and over again. Also, He didn't even put any footage of the reception or the band on the video. What was the point of paying $1500 for a band if I don't have any pictures or video to remember it? Oh well, everyone that I have talked to said that they had a great time so I guess that's all that matters. Out of the whole wedding that is my only complaint so I guess I should be grateful. It was the wedding of my dreams and better yet, I am now married to the man of my dreams and my very best friend in the whole world...I am so lucky!

Well I better get going. Justin doesn't have school tonight so he will be home. I put a yummy roast in the crock pot before I left for work so it should be all ready by the time I get home:)
