Fun Times!

So just wanted to drop in and say hello...I have been so torn lately. I am worried about our country, I am worried about my children, Do I spend enough time with them? Does my husband know how much I adore him? Does my family know how much they mean to me? I'm not sure why but these are all thing that I have been thinking about lately. Justin has been working 6 ten hour days recently. When I say 10 hour days he is actually gone much longer than that. He leaves at 5am and returns home at 6pm. I am worried that he is working too much for his own health.

We had a wonderful time on Halloween. Not much good to be said for the holiday but it was fun for the kids. We dressed up and took them tick or treating. We counted 198 children that came to our door. We have recently moved to a much larger neighborhood and apparantely it is the neighborhood to be at for Halloween. I must have lost that memo because we barely had enough candy. luckily a neighbor had pre warned me. Before we took the kids out we had a little halloween party with hot chocolate, caramel apples, and for the grown ups I baked brie and garlic and served it with warm baquette. It was delicious!
We had 5 kids over and 8 adults. Later in the night my mom and Wally stopped by as well.

Here are some pics. As you can tell Kayla was not into being Tigger at all...Sigh...she sure was cute though!

These are pictures form this weekend of Hailey's competition. She placed 4th in both barrels and key hole. (daddy obviously doesn't run very fast):) She is too young to compete on her own yet but hopefully next year they will let her. Enjoy:)

Well, Hailey's competition was cancelled due to the weather but we still had a fun day and rode Beau anyway. Then, Hailey got to go to the state fair with Nanna and Papa so it was a good weekend.

Life goes on

Not sure why I continue blogging. The only comments I get are Spam but I see that quite a few are still visiting so I guess I will continue...

Last weekend We did a joint garage sale with my mother at the church. We did extremely well considering the temps were above 100. It might as well have been raining. I had 7 totes full of Kayla's baby clothes and those were just 0-12 months. We still had so much stuff left over that we decided to have another one this weekend at my house. Luckily my mother will be helping on Sat. Hailey has her second gaming competition. She is in the pre pee wee class(who knew there was such a thing) so she is only able to compete in barrels and key hole because of her age. She had her first competition a few weeks ago and took third in both events and first in the boot race:) I had been considering entering this competition for myself as I have been working with a trainer but I am afraid my barrel racing skills are not quite there yet. Hopefully soon though:)

Work has been stressful yet fun lately. Last week we spent 2 days at the fair one helping host the Golden Wedding Game which is a game show similar to the newlywed game and the second day we ran a booth for the hotel. Monday came around and we spent the day golfing in a golf tournament the company had sponsored, now today it is back to work.

Yesterday was our 2 year anniversary. I must say I have the best husband in the world. He is probably the kindest, most polite, most patient man you will ever meet. I wish I had some of the virtues that he possesses but alas (did I just say alas), I am too much like my mother:) We went out to a very nice new restaurant in town for dinner. Justin ordered the smoked sampler. It came with beef and pork prepared about every way imaginable and then different sauces to dip it in. I have never seen that man so happy. He could barely see me over the stack of meat on his plate. It was good to get out for a night.

Anyway, must run

p.s. the first four pictures are of Hailey training for her competition.

Thank you all for keeping us in your thoughts and prayers. Unfortunately Wednesday I did miscarry. We are doing all right and trying to keep ourselves busy. God knows best so we will wait until he says it is time.

HMMMM????

Had another appt they still can't see anything but a fluid sac. The sac is growing and is consistent with being 4-5 weeks pregnant which typically would not be alarming however, my hormone levels are really high and based on that they are saying they should be able to see something. I have another ultrasound next week. This will be my fifth one in 3 weeks. Another thing that is worrying me is that all of my symptoms have disappeared and I am just not feeling pregnant. I guess only time will tell. It's in God's hands now.

Good News!

Well today was an odd day. We woke up to snow this morning which was rather unexpected. Hailey was thrilled to see it snowing however, I was not happy that I had to drive to Vancouver in the stuff. I have been having morning sickness (which should really be called all day and night sickness) but I feel bad even complaining about it. At least being sick means that things are progressing. I just keep thinking to myself "I just went through this, how am I going to do this again so soon?" I know I am not the first mommy to go through this and that plenty of women have done this before but right now it just seems so overwhelming. I feel so bad because I have been getting home around 5:30 the last few nights and have been asleep by 6:00. Poor Justin has been on his own with the house and the kids but he has been doing so good. Luckily, mom is going to start making dinner to send home with him when he stops to get Kayla in the evenings, that will help allot. I am not sure how long I will be able to work with this pregnancy but hopefully God will give me the strength to make it until at least the end of summer. The Dr said that the ultrasound looked completely consistent with a normal pregnancy about 4 weeks along, so we are all praying that they will not change their story again and that we have a beautiful little baby in a few months. Thank you all for your kind comments and prayers.

I have know idea why all of sudden this went bold:)

Update

well my hormone levels are still going up, which means that I am still pregnant. The Dr's can't see the baby and yesterday I was looked at by 3 Dr's all of which couldn't explain why they can't see anything. I go in tomorrow to the fertility clinic for them to do a more high powered ultrasound in hopes of seeing something. My Dr. said to not get my hopes up but I am hoping that there is just some reasonable explanation for why they are not seeing anything. I will let you guys know tomorrow.

Please Pray

We found out this morning that something is wrong with the pregnancy. The Dr has told me that I should expect to start miscarrying any time. Please pray for us.

SICK

I woke up this morning with an awful chest cold. I think it finally caught up to me. I have joined the local gym with my best friend and we have been going after work. Last night we did a water aerobics class and I don't think going out at night with wet hair helped any.

So we are moved in and life is settling down. I wish it was Friday. I don't feel good and all I want to do is lay on the couch in my PJ's. Sat. Justin and us are going to mom's to help prune trees and i suppose The kiddos and I will tag along. Sun after church we are having pasture clean up day at the in laws. they have a bunch of rocks in the pasture that they want out of there so we are going to go help with that. Justin has been looking at horses all week and we will probably have one by the end of the month. Justin and his dad are gone right now looking at a horse trailer up in Washington. Hopefully he will be home soon. I miss him.

Anyway, Here are some pics for your enjoyment
